- The Oregonian's
2006 Advertising Reward Program" performance period
will run from January 1, 2006 through December 31, 2006.
- Advertisers
must be enrolled to participate. Enrollment period for the 2006
Program ends September 30, 2006.
- The award
redemption and use period for Levels One, Two and Three of the
2005 Program is January 15 through December 31, 2006. The award
redemption and use period for Levels One, Two and Three of the
2006 Program is January 15 through December 31, 2007
- The award
redemption and use period for Level Four and Five will be determined
by the cruise destination selected.
- Level One
travel rewards are provided to the advertiser in the form of vacation
gift certificates. Gift certificates will be issued to qualifying
Oregonian Travel Reward participants at the end of the performance
period. Gift certificates are redeemable for vacation packages
only and may not be redeemed for cash or airfare only.
- Awards for
Levels One, Two and Three are transferable.
- Level Four
and Five awards are not transferable.
- Eligible
participants for the 2005 Advertising Rewards Program are Oregonian
advertisers who have signed The Oregonian's 2005 Advertising Rewards
Agreement.
- Eligible
participants for the 2006 Advertising Rewards Program are Oregonian
advertisers who have signed The Oregonian's 2006 Advertising Rewards
Agareement.
- Travel awards
are earned in accordance with the applicable
performance levels.
- Travel awards
may be issued only by The Oregonian's designated Travel Incentive
Manager according to program guidelines.
- A signed
a waiver of liability is required. The form may be downloaded
here. It must be printede and signed by each person traveling.
The original signed copy must be received by The Oregonian prior
to traveling.
- Participants
are responsible for contacting The Oregonian's Travel Incentive
Manager with any personal information changes that occur during
the program award period.
- Pursuant
to IRS reporting rules, 1099's must be issued for awards
to non-corporate advertisers such as sole proprietorships, partnerships
and LLC's. Advertisers, whether they are proprietorships, partnerships,
LLC's or corporations, are responsible for tax reporting on the
part of individuals they designate to take the trip. Any income
or other tax liabilities incurred for awards are the responsibility
of the participants and their designees.
- The Oregonian
reserves the right to revise or replace the Advertising
Rewards program or discontinue it at any time, with or without
notice, and without further obligation.
- All advertising
is subject to the terms and conditions of The Oregonian's advertising
contract and rate book
